For All Club President Elects 2012-13 and their Boards
This may be the image going through your minds....You made it through PETS. You left there all pumped up, yet buried with a swollen to-do-list and are thinking about that July 1st date coming up fast in your rear view mirror. You are starting to break out in a cold sweat and know that you are not dreaming and you have started to get pains in your chest......BUT the remedy is within your grasp!, April 14th District Assembly and Club Officer Training Day.
All presidents and their boards are to attend the district assembly. Because we now train treasurers and secretaries at PETS, district assembly is geared towards committee chairpersons. This is the training ground for membership, public relations, foundation, youth, and now, New Generations the fifth avenue of service.
It is to that end that District Trainer Sherry Mischel and I, request your participation at this event. Training will be on Saturday, April 14th 2012 EVIT in Mesa from 8:30 a.m. until 2p.m. One day, one location, one stop for insuring that you have a true Team of Leaders about to step into office in your club. You must pre-register and you can do that online at www.rotary5510.org cost is $15.00 per person which includes lunch; please use a credit card to register by April 5, 2012.
When you composed your board for the Rotary year 2012-13 you knew there were responsibilities. Your District Governor Elect and District Trainers, as well as other District Leaders, want to help you fulfill those responsibilities as simply and creatively as possible. That is why we encourage you to take advantage of quality education, opportunity for networking, and valuable tools for you to do your job- this event can do just that! Please note that sessions run concurrently and do not repeat.

NEW!!! Information:DISTRICT ASSEMBLY GUEST SPEAKER -- MICHAEL ELLENBY
Through the efforts of Assistant Governor Gary Johnson, District 5510 will have goal setting and goal achieving consultant Michael Ellenby making a 30 minute presentation at lunch during our Assembly. Having worked for and with major technology and Fortune 500 companies in the U.S., Japan, and his native land Australia, Michael will be focusing on the fact “that goal setting is the easy part…achieving those goals as you face obstacles is really the challenge, in Rotary, your business and in your personal life”
Fairly new to Arizona, Michael has recently set up a website- www.michaelellenby.com where you can learn more about him and see some short informal videos that he has made.
If you were to gain nothing new at our Assembly but to see and hear Michael your District, your club, and most importantly you will have benefited from the experience.
