District Grants for 2017-18 Club Projects
Greetings from the new District 5495 Rotary Foundation Committee!

Now is the time to start planning your club project in 2017-18 that can be partially funded by a District Grant.   These awards are available up to $2000, with the club funding at least 50% of the project cost.

All District Grant funding requests must meet The Rotary Foundation requirements for District Grant spending as defined in The Rotary Foundation’s Terms and Conditions:  https://my.rotary.org/en/document/terms-and-conditions-rotary-foundation-district-grants-and-global-grants

The application period for a District Grant starts April 1, 2017 and ends June 30, 2017.   Instructions for the application process will be provided prior to April 1.  Projects cannot be started until the application is approved by the District and The Rotary Foundation.   District Grants monies are expected to be available before September 1, 2017.

Be sure to attend an upcoming Grants Management Seminar in order to qualify for obtaining a District Grant.  Two club members are required to attend.   Seminars will be held at PETS in February and at Club Leadership Academy in April.  Look for announcements and registration details.
